Mundo Matonge offers eco-designed and eco-managed office and meeting spaces to
non-profit organisations, NGOs and social enterprises.
Located in the Matonge district of Ixelles, this emblematic centre hosts a network of non-profits focusing on the environment and sustainable development.
Mundo Matonge offers meeting rooms and private or shared office spaces in a welcoming setting. With its two gardens, the centre benefits from a green environment. Its social economy restaurant and communal terraces create a friendly atmosphere that’s ideal for interaction.
Mundo Matonge, formerly known as Mundo-b, is the first Mundo centre.
In 2009, a number of Brussels non-profit organisations active in the sustainable development sector (Quinoa, GoodPlanet and others), wanted to create and share a workplace that reflected them and was consistent with their values. Mundo-Lab joined this initiative, leading to the eco-renovation of a building in the heart of Brussels to create an office centre for changemakers.

renovated or built according to the most demanding environmental standards. They are designed and managed in a way that minimises their environmental impact on a daily basis.

Services
Mundo Matonge rents out private and shared offices and sustainable meeting rooms to non-profit organisations, NGOs and social enterprises in Brussels.
The centre also offers a range of professional services to make everyday life easier for the hosted organisations.
Due to renovation work, access to meeting rooms for external bookings will be limited starting June 23, 2025.

Through its extremely short supply chain, Refresh offers sustainable vegetable-based cuisine. Refresh is a social economy restaurant that aims to offer long-term employment to people who are cut off from the job market, integrating them directly into its teams.

Renovation info
Mundo Matonge is being renovated until the end of January to offer you even more sustainable and functional spaces!
During this period, please take note of the following access arrangements:
Meeting Rooms
Conference and Fair Trade meeting rooms are now available.
Private Offices
No changes here — private offices will remain accessible throughout the renovation via the main entrance, located at: 26 rue d'Édimbourg, Ixelles
Coworking
The ground-floor coworking space will be inaccessible during the renovation.
(Current and future) members will have access to:
- the 3rd floor coworking space
And the good news: once the renovation is complete, a brand-new coworking space will welcome you on the ground floor — bigger, more modern, and more comfortable!
Restaurant
Restaurant Refresh is open again and welcomes you with full service.
Catering service is now available.
