The World Federation of the Deafblind (WFDB) is a global non-governmental advocacy organization by and for persons with deafblindness. Established in 2001, WFDB’s mission is to enhance the quality of life and protect the rights of this unique disability group, in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD).
