Background
The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the adoption of the AI Act, and the digital transformation of European societies are reshaping the context in which we imagine, write and implement EU-funded projects. As programmes like Erasmus+, Horizon Europe, Creative Europe and CERV increasingly integrate digital, ethical and strategic dimensions, project design must also evolve.
ECON ProjectWise is a one-day international event organised by ECON – European Cooperation Network, aiming to explore how to write impactful and future-oriented European projects in the age of AI. It is a space for strategic reflection, peer learning, and building meaningful cross-sectoral partnerships.
Objectives
- Inspire and reflect on what makes a project truly strategic, relevant and transformative in the current European landscape
• Understand the implications of the AI Act for EU project design, across sectors
• Explore real cases of successful projects integrating AI and innovation
• Reflect on how education and learning ecosystems are evolving in the AI era
